Jackie Ovadia is Teaching Group Classes at Irvine Valley College
Irvine, Calif: Pacific Wellness Source Director, Jackie Ovadia, is teaching group classes through the Irvine Valley College Emeritus College. Her passion is educating through integrative and preventive health.
All classes address the health and wellness topics relevant to mature adults, using exercises that help people maintain an active, independent lifestyle. In addition to exercise, each class offers lectures on topics relevant to mature adults: health risk reduction, injury prevention, components of cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance and strength/conditioning, Pilates/posture/core function, balance/fall prevention, dietary guidelines, body composition, weight management, hands-on nutrition education, gut health, cognitive health, stress reduction, and dimensions of wellness.
The instructor provides attendees with additional educational resources on developing their personalized, lifelong Health and Wellness Program, including but not limited to: aerobics, strength, Pilates, injury prevention, balance, coordination, flexibility, diet and gut health, cognitive health, mindfulness, and stress reduction, and other dimensions of wellness.
These classes reflect Jackie’s passion and commitment to empower students with tools to enhance their daily living skills. To this end, she provides insight, knowledge, and hands-on expertise.
