Group exercise classes incorporate strength training, aerobics, core conditioning/Pilates, balance, and functional movements. All these exercises are designed to reduce health risk factors, prevent falls, reduce osteopenia and osteoporosis, and promote mind-body health (i.e., mindful meditation, relaxation and other stress regulation interventions, and behavioral techniques)— designed to fit the lifestyles of group members and help them achieve their health and wellness goals.

Stretching Your Years, Reducing Your Fears

Group exercise classes for mature adults focus on strength training, balance, essential stretching, and injury prevention. These exercises may improve one’s range of motion, reduce pain, improve balance, help with breathing, and promote mind-body health (e.g.,  mindful meditation, stress regulation interventions, meditation, relaxation, and behavioral techniques).

Exercises for a Healthy Workplace

Exercises for a healthy workplace are designed for groups of employees who spend long hours at their computers and have limited time to focus on fitness. The mind-body medicine approaches (i.e., mindful meditation, relaxation and other stress regulation interventions, and behavioral techniques) can also stimulate the brain and improve one’s focus and function. They can also help turn a stressful workplace into a healthy workplace, where people can thrive together.
