Welcome to Pacific Wellness Source, an integrative health education resource that focuses on helping people gain a comprehensive, holistic understanding of the body and its underlying functions. We believe knowledge is power, and we empower people with the knowledge and hands-on tools to best care for themselves, so they can live longer, healthier, and happier lives.
Our integrative health and wellness programs include group courses in three areas.
Functional Exercise & Wellness
We focus on exercises for everyday living, working on muscle groups that will help individuals better function and avoid injuries. Popular courses in this area include: Exercises for Everyday Living; Stretching Your Years, Reducing Your Fears; and Exercises for a Healthy Workplace.
Functional Nutrition: Science & Practice
We focus on healthy nutrition and implementing it into people’s lives, to help them perform to their full potential. Course offerings include: Nutrition for Life; Time for a “Gut Check”; The Healing Kitchen; Anti-Inflammatory Diet for Life; Cancer Prevention Diet for Life; Health Risk Reduction for Life; and Weight Management for a Healthy Life.
Integrative Health Education: Theory & Practice
We become the investigators in chief, looking at our bodies and lives with a new lens, reviewing genetic, cultural, lifestyle, and other factors that contribute to illness and trauma. Core course offerings in this area include: Prevention is the Best Cure and Healthy Aging.
Getting SMART
We present each aspect of health in a three-pronged approach: What it is, Why it matters, and How you can improve it, with S.M.A.R.T. goals in mind: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound.
Finally, our core philosophy is that the human body is a miracle of science and evolution, that must be treated like a shrine. This comes through a respect for the body, a responsibility to take action, and an understanding that with a commitment to one’s health, the rewards will follow.
